VonnaTimMarcus-WagonsWestRVMuralAn item published recently in the Arizona Daily Star features the creative work of more than 90 RVing snowbirds.

Knowing that a group of ‘retired’ RVers have time on their hands and pent-up creativity, the group learned how to make and lay tile for a 40-foot mural at the Wagons West RV Park in Tucson, Ariz.

Vonna Marcus, a South Dakota native who winters in Tucson, spearheaded the tile-making project, teaching others how to cut, glaze and lay tiles on the 60-foot wall,” wrote Johanna Willett, in an article posted the first week of March.
