Back when I was a kid in sunny southern California one of the most popular ‘Sunday afternoon drives’ was to Hadley Fruit Orchards in Cabazon about 15 miles west of Palm Springs.
We all jumped in the family station wagon because of Hadley’s iconic ‘Date Shakes.’ Today, people stop by for the huge variety of packaged fruit and nuts. Another roadside attraction nearby are the Cabazon Dinosaurs
