‘Campers hit highway for happiness’ in New South Wales, Australia

Peter Hawkins writes in the Brisbane (Australia) Times — “Campsites on the coast will be packed with families wanting to escape financial woes and looking for a cheap holiday this Easter long weekend.

He writes that “Alice and Thomas Hammerle, from Mona Vale on Sydney’s northern beaches, are loading up the children and going camping for the Easter break. They are taking two of their three daughters, Rhianna, 12, and Mara, 17, to Dubbo in a motorhome”

Mrs Hammerle said, “We’re really excited about having some quality time with the children. You get a lot more privacy, it’s tons of fun and there’s more flexibility.”
