RVer and author Irene Rawlings has written two books featuring Sisters on the Fly, that fun-loving group of vintage trailer owners.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with “The Sisters” … “Our activities run the gamut from fly fishing, kayaking, cowgirl college, wine tasting, and horseback riding to whatever else sounds like fun. We don’t discriminate about race, religion, politics or sexual orientation. Our goal is to bring women together to challenge themselves, to be all they are capable of being.” — Sisters on the Fly
The first first book, “Sisters on the Fly: Caravans, Campfires, and Tales from the Road” ($14.99) came out in May 2010. In that book the Sisters share tales of the road and their cool vintage rigs. The second, “Cast-Iron Cooking with Sisters on the Fly” ($14.55) was published earlier this year.
