Penny Carnathan, garden columnist for the Tampa Bay Times contacted us a couple of weeks back regarding an article she was working on about “edibles gardening on the go – in RVs.”
She wrote in an e-mail that she had tracked us down through a photo shared on Pinterest and was wondering if she could talk to us “about tips for RV gardening, including products that might be helpful.”
A couple of days later, Penny Carnathan caught up with us by telephone in Texas. Jimmy, the chief gardener and primary cook in our household, talked with Penny about “gardening in a jar” — the idea of sprouting as an easy way to grow fresh organic greens on the go.
