RVing the Maritimes with Kevin & Janie Justis, part 15: End of 10-week sojourn to Bucket List destination

Share
This is the 15th and final installment of Kevin and Janie Justis‘ ‘Summer of 2017’s Grand RVing Tour of Canada’s Maritime Provinces.’

This post finds Kevin and Janie Justis of Arizona back in the USA after 10 weeks in Canada. The Justis’ entered Quebec on July 3 and left New Brunswick on Sept. 11.

“The Maratimes were a major destination of our six-month RV sojourn and was something we have wanted to do for a long time.

“In our experience, you cannot see everything no matter how long the visit.  We feel like we got a real flavor of the Maritime Provinces except New Brunswick where we only spent a few days coming and going.

“One final observation is that we would try to avoid any area where the tour boats and buses go. The Halifax area is an example (as is Bar Harbor in Maine).

“We truly enjoyed our adventure and would highly recommend it despite the very high cost of fuel and expensive ferry fare.  The people were very friendly and welcoming.  Even so, at age 70 and 73, we most likely will not be going that way again.”
