The Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Las Cruces, NM, welcomes RVers who want to volunteer their time and skills. Its build season runs from October through May.
Jimmy and I selected a pre-holiday build the first two weeks in December. When we arrived we parked in the makeshift RV park that the affiliate set up on its property for five RVs, complete with electricity, water and sewer hookups.
