Family Motor Coach Association’s 90th Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase runs today through Aug. 16, 2014, in the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon, in the shadow of the Three Sisters Mountains.
“Approximately 2,000 motorhomes and some 6,000 people are expected to come together for this fun-filled event, which has been dubbed ‘High Desert Sunrise’ in honor of the host area,” according to Pamela Kay director of communications for FMCA.
Activities include educational seminars, entertainment on two stages, scores of RV vendors, and hundreds of new motor coaches. We hope to find ‘show specials’ for some of the items on our RV shopping list.
If you are in the Central Oregon area and wanted to check out all the motorhomes, admission costs $7 per day; children 12 and under are admitted free with an accompanying adult, as are those with an active military ID.
If you prefer to take in the RV exhibits and also attend seminars and entertainment you may purchase a Daily Passport, which is available for $65 per person ($55 for FMCA members).
