Stopped by Jojoba Hills SKP Co-op in Aguanga, Calif., to say hello to RV author Alice Zyetz and get a quick tour of this Escapee RV Club’s resort-quality complex.
While Jojoba Hills is quite a spread, it was Alice we stopped to see.
Alice and I go back to 2006, when I first interviewed her for a weekly RV lifestyle column I was writing for The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Wash.
She and her former husband, Chuck Zyetz, lived on the road for a decade. In late 2003 they left full-time RVing life and settled in Jojoba Hills, a cooperative Escapee RV Club park nestled in the high desert northeast of San Diego.
She and co-author Jaimie Hall-Bruzenak of RVLifestyleExperts.com have written several RV how-to books, including “The Woman’s Guide to Solo RVing.”
According to Alice, they are working on a new book that will be out within a couple of months. “We’re nearly finished editing it,” she says.
Read more about Alice in “It’s north to Alaska for Zyetzs.”

Yes, Jaimie … we’ve been there … got dates mixed up about RV show and arrive too early. I know you will have a great time. It was starting to ‘fill up’ just a little when we were leaving.
Look forward to our paths crossing soon. Headed for Pacific Northwest this year?
Julianne
Hey, Julianne, does that mean you are headed to Quartzsite? We’ll be here for about a week and 1/2. Arriving tomorrow. Give me a shout if you head this way. I’d love to see you too.
Oops- looks like you have been here and gone from your list of blog posts.
