It was in January of 2012 when we heard about a Desert Bar oasis called The Nellie E Saloon somewhere between Quartzsite and Lake Havasu City (Arizona). It took a bit of sleuthing for us, but we finally got directions … and believe us, it is well worth the trip on a weekend day. You’ll need to park your RV somewhere near Parker, Ariz., and use your tow vehicle to drive the five miles down a dusty, windy, rocky dirt road.
