Bicycled scenic byway on edge of Colorado River

Nancy\'s 1919 Model T at La Paz County Campground 12/26/09 By Julianne Crane Spent most of the afternoon slowly bicycling less than five miles along a quiet byway that hugs the Colorado River between Buckskin Mountain State Park and La Paz County Park north of Parker, AZ.

(Part of the road near Buckskin has been closed for sometime to motor vehicles because of potential rock falls.)

Most of our time was spent stopping and talking with other RVers at both Buckskin and La Paz campgrounds.

At La Paz, one interesting fella from Southern California talked about the 1919 Model T project car he had purchased for his wife a few years back.  They drive it in parades and display it at car shows.

Simple joy of sharing story.
