Washington State women RVed Southwest, searching for antiques in vintage motor home

Share

Peggy Littlefield and Harley Bratrude ambled through parts of the Southwest in a vintage 1983 Vogue motor home (left) collecting unique items for their antique business in Cashmere, Wash.

These longtime friends aren’t exactly Thelma and Louise, however they were armed (with an antique six-shooter) when we crossed trails in west Texas, just south of the Pecos. We both had circled our modern day prairie schooners around the campground in Balmorhea State Park.
