RV friends stop by on way to Montana

Jane and Kevin Justis, of Susanville, Calif., stopped over in Spokane for a couple of days on their way to visit family in Montana.

We first encountered Kevin and Jane, at a favorite Crops of Engineers campground, Eastbank at Lake Seminole on the Georgia-Florida border; then caught up with the avid birders again a couple months later at Texas’ Goose Island State Park on the Gulf of Mexico where they were looking for the Whooping Cranes.

They are still towing their 1995 17-feet Freedom Deluxe Casita, with their 10-year-old Toyota Tundra, V-8.

With four winters of snowbirding behind them, Jane and Kevin figure they’ve spent more than 500 nights in their cozy 100-square-foot Casita.
