RV campers love family, fun, campfires

Soon millions of RVers will be packing up their rigs, their kids and the family dog — and head on down the road to camp and roast marshmallows.

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds asked active recreational vehicle campers about where RVers go and what they enjoy doing once they get there.

“What definitely hit home again and again,” said association president Linda Profaizer from her office in Falls Church, Va., “is that camping is solidly a family activity.”

High on the list of desirable things to do while camping include “having fun with friends” and “cooking over a campfire.”
