Driving the two lane back roads from Montana to the Midwest we have seen thousands of miles of corn fields … and an amazing number of pickup-5th wheel-and-boat combinations. (Like this one in rural Illinois.)
It always amazes me.
Maybe it is because we never had a lot of fun hauling our 29-foot fiver–much less adding a boat to the back of it. We like exploring the smaller roads of America. That’s the main reason we sold the 5th wheel and returned to a slide-in camper. Each has its place. But for now, we’ll keep truckin’ in our little Northern Lite.
