Sitting at the crossroads of Hwy 200 and US Highway 83 in North Dakota is an amazing Rest Area–The North Dakota Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.

After driving several hours on the backroads of North Dakota, one needs to pull over for a break. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is the perfect place. The complex also includes the re-creation of Fort Mandan where the Corps of Discovery spent their first winter.
