Last minute details on our third Snowbird RV trip south to Arizona, Texas

2001_Citation_JS_JC_JulianneGCraneEven best made plans sometimes are sidetracked with the unexpected. Ours came in the form of a follow-up test to a routine medical check-up. It delayed our departure for almost two weeks.

Results from the test arrived yesterday, and we were given the ‘all clear’ to head on out. Hurray.

Today we are doing the final cleaning the lovely country home we’ve been caretaking for the past six months; last-minute loading of our 2001 Citation 5th wheel; a final run to the storage unit; and topping off the pickup with diesel.

By Wednesday mid-morning we’ll be rolling our way south. Our first stop is in central Oregon to visit with longtime friends Sharon and Ron Vail. After that it’s further south through California.

This is our third extended RV exploration and we’ve decided to be more relaxed about our schedule and route. All we have on the calendar right now is Christmas in Arizona and January-February on the coast of Texas.
