Seems there are always dozens of small chores to do before hitting the road again after a longer stay — fill the propane tank, wash all the clothes, return books and CDs to the library, and, for Jimmy, getting a “regular” hair cut. Once we get on the road, I’m his barber.
We bicycled a couple of miles into Old Town to the Rockport Barber Shop on Austin Street.
Harvey, the barber, gives a good traditional cut, complete with eyebrow trim, for $9.
Then we were off to the monthly outdoor Rockport Market Day to pickup last minute fresh produce for the road.
We leave tomorrow.
