Well, actually, in the ladies shower room of Brantley Lake State Park a few miles outside of Carlsbad. I was amazed at how put-together and gorgeous she was … standing in front of the bathroom mirror touching up her long auburn hair with a curling iron.
I, on the other hand, had not put on mascara since leaving Spokane more than a month earlier. And, as for my hair, well that’s why hats were invented.
That was back in November 2009 when I learned that Jericho was on her camping adventure tour the West–from Houston to the Oregon border–in her personally customized white Ford wagon.
