‘How much snow can an RV’s roof hold?’

Share

RVTravel.com‘s readers’ forum received an e-mail from Kyle Pugh of Spokane, Wash., where a record snowfall of more than six-feet fell during December 2008.

Watching the snow build up on his motorhome, Pugh wondered how much its roof can handle.

In addition, he wrote, “the entry steps are closer to the ground because of all of the snow load pressing down on the tires and the suspension. Could this be of a greater concern than the roof?”
