Labor Day – last big RV camping spree of summer

Last camping trip of summer season. (Julianne G. Crane)

Labor Day honors labor’s strengths and contributions to the United States economy. It also unofficially marks the end of family summer camping weekends.

Wherever you are celebrating this Labor Day — camped beside a quiet lake deep in the woods, basking on a beach along the coast, or relaxing on a hammock in your own backyard — enjoy this final big blowout (or quiet getaway) of the 2021 summer season.

And, let us all remember our family, friends and fellow human beings who are affected by COVID; the disastrous wildfires in the West; all the folks struggling in Louisiana; and all the brave souls helping them recover.
