Catching up with friends at Goose Island State Park on the Gulf of Mexico, northeast of Corpus Christi, Texas.
We first met Kevin and Jane Justis of Susanville, Calif., earlier this trip at the Eastbank Crops of Engineers campground at Lake Seminole on the Georgia-Florida border.
Goose Island is noted for the hundreds of bird species that pass this way on their annual migration … and, therefore there will always be a few dozen migrating RV pairs perched along the shore watching and photographing the winged beauties.
