Glacier National Park is about buttoned up for the season. Apgar Campground will remain open; however, McDonald Lodge and almost all the retail outlets have closed.

GlacierApgarCG_A60_JimmySmith_JulianneGCraneIf you haven’t been there, Apgar Campgound has flush toilets, drinking water and an RV dump station. Price for dry camping (no hookups available) is $20/night (1/2 with Senior Access Pass). Between Oct. 14-Nov. 30, primitive camping is $10/night (1/2 with Senior Access Pass).

Going-to-the-Sun Road is currently open from the West Entrance 15.5 miles to Avalanche; and 18.5 miles from the St. Mary Entrance to Logan Pass. For up to the moment road status click here.
