Adventurer explores USA in green RV

Laura Freeman writes in the Hudson (Ohio) Hub-Times about Brian Brawdy, 47, a self-styled adventurer from Tampa, Fla., who has gone “green” by adding solar energy and wind turbine to his pickup truck and camper.

“The sun and wind power the lights, six batteries and microwave,” Brawdy said. “My RV never needs to be plugged in.”

The truck uses biodiesel fuel, which is manufactured from vegetable plants. The “green” features save $400 month in fuel needs, writes Freeman.
