Glacier National Park is about buttoned up for the season. Apgar Campground will remain open; however, McDonald Lodge and almost all the retail outlets have closed.
If you haven’t been there, Apgar Campgound has flush toilets, drinking water and an RV dump station. Price for dry camping (no hookups available) is $20/night (1/2 with Senior Access Pass). Between Oct. 14-Nov. 30, primitive camping is $10/night (1/2 with Senior Access Pass).
Going-to-the-Sun Road is currently open from the West Entrance 15.5 miles to Avalanche; and 18.5 miles from the St. Mary Entrance to Logan Pass. For up to the moment road status click here.
