Belt sander races a hoot in Fulton, Texas

BeltSanderRace_1_JulianneGCraneEvery other Saturday afternoon in Fulton, Tex., several hundred fun-loving people–many of them snowbird RVers–gather at the Legends Saloon to watch other fun-loving folks race belt sanders down a 75-foot track.

The races take place October-March on the 1st and 3rd Saturday at 2:00 p.m. behind the Legends Saloon (formerly “Pickled Pelican”), 3720 N Hwy 35, Fulton, Tex.
