As a person who loves nature and the outdoors, I want to help ensure that this one precious earth of ours is available to all the generations that follow.

Earth Day Network has launched a campaign for global environmental and climate literacy by Earth Day 2020. They are dedicated “to ensuring that every student around the world graduates high school as an environmental and climate literate citizen, ready to take action and be a voice for change.”

We were not allowed to finish our drive through the park on earth day, 4/22/2017. We were escorted out by a park ranger close on our heels. We had hoped to view the stars. We only want an apology for the crude and unprofessional treatment by this ranger. I live in Massachusetts and can only hope to return to the beautiful Petrified Forest one day.

Sorry to read you were asked to exit a National Park before you wanted to leave. It might have been that the park closed by a certain time (for non-campers maybe?). Whatever the reason, however, that is no excuse for rude behavior. I would encourage you send a similar e-mail to head Ranger of the National Park you visited. They need to received feedback on both the good and not-so-good experiences.
