Argentina by motorhome

In a recent entry on TravelPod.com, “Traveling in Argentina by Motorhome,” R. Macy and his wife give insights from their 47-day RV adventure in that South American country.

“My purpose with this blog is to share some of things I learned, sometimes the hard way, about traveling by motorhome in Argentina (in order) to shorten your learning curve if you travel by this means,” said Macy.

Macy, a retired physician in Northern California, said the main reason they traveled to Argentina was to fly fish the Patagonia lake region.

The Macys began their trip in Buenos Aires where they rented an Iguazu class C from Gaibu Camper & Motorhome Rentals. The Macys talk about exchanging money, the importance of a cell phone and suggestions of other supplies to have aboard the RV on the rutted gravel roads of the backroads.
