Over the recent holidays Jimmy and I planned our winter route in order to “driveway camp” for a few days with longtime RV friends Jane and Kevin Justis in Rio Rico, Ariz.
This is our second stopover with them and, being the perfect hosts, they always provide unique places to visit in the area.
One of the fascinating places on this visit’s list was the locally-owned Tumacacori Mesquite Sawmill where proprietor Art Flores (left) walked us through the lumber yard and workshop.
Flores said that they love visitors and that the majority of their customers are by “word of mouth. The Sawmill has become a place of friendship for many, and yes, we do like to sell mesquite now and then, but the friendships that have begun are priceless.”
