Truck campers, Part 6: Where to go for information

Truck campers give RVers the experience of going where you want to go and camping where you want to camp, along with the freedom of having everything you need with you all the time.

If you are interested in more information: “Talk to a few truck camper owners,” advises Rich Bain, of Colbert, Wash. “Don’t be afraid to ask them questions. I never met a truck camper owner who did not want to talk about their camper.”

North American Truck Camper Owners Association. A nonprofit club of truck camper enthusiasts that hold rallies and caravans; have a lot of fun and meet wonderful people. Cost: $24 new member, $15 renew.

Truck Camper Magazine. A free online e-zine dedicated to truck campers, the RV that can go anywhere, camp anywhere, and tow anything. Published by truck camper Gordon White out of Lancaster, Pa.

Go RVing. Sponsored by the recreation vehicle industry, this site offers for general information on the RV lifestyle.
