Super Bowl gatherings across USA, RV park

All across America yesterday there were Super Bowl gatherings — including a number at the Sandollar RV Park in Rockport, Texas.

We were invited to watch the game with ardent Green Bay Packers’ fans Dar and Thom Hoch of Wisconsin.

Jimmy Smith, who was born in western Pennsylvania a few miles north of Pittsburg, wore black in a light-hearted attempt to more rile Dar than support the Steelers.

Each time the Packers made a touchdown, horns honked all across the park, reflecting the high concentration of Midwesterners in this south Texas RV destination.
