Sprinter van platform = popular Class B motorhomes

Share

The Dodge Sprinter van, brought over from Europe where it originated as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, is rapidly becoming the choice of motorhome manufacturers and RVers alike. (An identical van is produced by Freightliner).

An item on The Fun Times Guide, posted by Curtis, says: “With today’s unreliable fuel prices, these vans can squeeze up to 22 miles per  gallon on the road with their smaller diesel engines.  It’s a feat that not many fully self-contained motorhomes can come close to matching.”

Here are just a few of the RV manufacturers who produce quality Class B motorhomes on the Dodge or Freightliner Sprinter van:

  • Airstream
  • Coach House
  • Great West Vans
  • Pleasure Way
  • Roadtrek
  • Sportmobile
