RV Holiday in Colonial Williamsburg

Carriage tour of Colonial Williamsburg (ColonialWilliamsburg.com)

For glittering festive beauty and early American tradition this Holiday Season, head toward Colonial Williamsburg. This is a perfect destination for your RV family in Virginia’s Historic Triangle which also includes Jamestown and Yorktown.

There are literally hundreds of places of interest to visit. A few of my favorites in Williamsburg include the historic blacksmith shop, working bakery, and live enactments of America’s past.

Another fond memory is the hours of simply strolling the same paths and streets that George Washington walked. We enjoyed downing a pint of ale in King’s Arms Tavern. And, we literally gawked at all the magnificently restored buildings.
