RV Clubs, Part 6: RVing Women = knowledge, support

Share

This is the last of a six-part series on a few of the most popular clubs for recreation vehicle enthusiasts.

With nearly 2,500 members, RVing Women “is the only international support network solely for the woman RV enthusiast.” The association offers services, friendship, a magazine and rallies for its members. Their 2013 national convention is Oct. 8-13 in Sacramento, Calif.

RVing Women’s Web site states that the group is “dedicated to sharing knowledge and support with other women. The only requirement for joining is that you are a woman and that you are interested in RVing … you do not have to own an RV to join.”

Contact: RVing Women (www.rvingwomen.org), P.O. Box 1940, Apache Junction, AZ 85117-1940; (888) 557-8464. Membership $60, renewal $50.
