The granddaddy of all RV clubs and the world’s largest with more than one million members, Good Sam Club was founded in 1966. Club members originally promised to help fellow travelers on America’s highways. Today nearly 2,000 local chapters throughout North America gather together for RV campouts, fellowship and community service.
Since 2000, the Good Sam Club has staged 15 national and regional Rallies (TheRally.com) from the Florida coast to central Oregon, with two more planned in 2013 in Syracuse, NY and Atlanta, Ga. The club also offers state rallies, a monthly publication and discounts on a variety of products and services including 10-percent off on camping fees.
