In his on-going essay, today Jimmy Smith writes about seasonal and personal change.
“As the sun has begun to warm my shaggy exterior, I am experiencing a quickening in my soft interior,” he observes.
Later he reflects: “There is another part of me embroiled in a deep struggle to understand the huge dramas unfolding in this country and world.”
