Sorry for not posting more … but some spyware has invaded my portable computer and I’m having a tough time getting rid of it. I’m writing from the local library right now … Any suggestions for a darn good software?

use Spybot Search and Destroy, download only from the german (.de)site, and then use Ad-aware to finish the cleaning..
There are many programs named spybot something something, the real one is programmed in Germany, both it and the Lavasoft Ad-Aware are free to individual users.
CCleaner (Crapcleaner) also helps out with temp files reinfecting the computer…
Spyware… not much fun. There are two really good (and free) spyware removers. One is Adaware and the other is SpyBot.
