We made our way yesterday along some of the two-lane highways in southwest Texas. Our destination was the Seminole Canyon State Park and Historical Site near the Rio Grande River.

The last time we stayed here was two years ago and we took a six-mile bike ride along the Rio Grande River (loop) Trail. This year, because we arrived later in the afternoon, we opted for a three-mile hike along the canyon rim. We arrived back at our campsite in time for a glass of wine and a magnificent sunset.
