Burning Man is the annual event that “is an alternative-culture, avant-garde happening that redefines the borders of bohemia,” says Motorcycle USA.com contributing editor J. Joshua Placa.
Among many other things, this event is a place to find art cars and art RVs. Although it is held in the desert at a place called Black Rock City, it definitely isn’t Quartzsite. If you don’t know about it, check out the Guide, by clicking on: burningman.org
The temporary alternative-community can be found “off Nevada Route 447, near the parched town of Gerlach, 120 miles north of Reno, pretty much right in the middle of absolutely Nowhere. It kind of looks like hell, but it will feel like heaven,” says Placa.
The 2015 event will be held Aug. 30 to Sept 7. Click here for ticket information.
