LeMay America’s Car Museum, is a sprawling four-story, 165,000-square-foot facility near the Tacoma Dome south of Seattle. It is a perfect family outing if you are traveling through the Puget Sound area of the Pacific Northwest.
Since 2012, it’s housed 815 vehicles including cars, motorcycles and boats (no RVs yet). The museum’s eclectic cars and rotating exhibits offer a glimpse into the histories of countless makes and vehicle types.
A hugely popular event is the Summer Drive Series (free with admission) where visitors can ride in vehicles from the ACM Collection and “experience history in motion.”
