RVers Becky and Paul Bates stop by for a spell

Paul and Becky Bates, formerly of Hawaii and now of “the road,” recently backed in their 2005 29-foot Forest River Wildcat along side the barn to sit a spell and visit.

The Bates have been living full-time in their 5th wheel trailer for going on eight years.

This summer they have toured the Pacific Northwest, specifically North Idaho and Eastern Washington, visiting friends, attending a wedding and seeing the sights. During August their plans include exploring  Glacier National Park and other parts of Montana.

The Bates make their home base at the Escapees Park of the Sierras near Coarsegold, Calif., about 30 miles south of Yosemite National Park.
