RVer Jimmy Smith muses about camping by a lake, watching eagles soar, catching trout

After more than three months of a self-imposed writing sabbatical, RVer Jimmy Smith returns to reflect on our week-long boondocking trip to a sweet little forested lake in northeast Washington state.

He writes: “I always say I could explore endlessly this playground outside our door and never be more than 200 miles from Spokane. ┬áThis recent trip took us only 97 miles north into the Colville National Forest and gave us access to a beautiful quiet lake within gaze of our little camper.”
