I’m interested in profiling people who use their RVs to do “good works;” folks who reach out in some way to help their communities at home or on-the-road.
One example of RVers with big hearts are Scott and Ava Lasater of Spokane, Wash., who hand out lunches to the homeless every Sunday afternoon, no matter what the weather. Read more about the Lasaters in: “Volunteers hit the streets to feed the hungry”
Let me know how you volunteer your time or talents–from rebuilding homes for hurricane victims, to counting birds during migration, to working at state parks during the summer.
Send an e-mail with a brief discription of your, or your organization’s, volunteer projects to: BigHeartedRVers@yahoo.com
