RV technician Jon Itterman presented extremely useful information for this first-time 5th wheel owner on the different types of trailer suspensions and components at the 14th annual RV Owners Lifestyle Seminar in Kelowna, BC.
He answered questions on how to care and maintain suspension systems, brakes and bearings. Because our 5th wheel runs on the heavy size (11,000+ pounds) and we frequently travel across high mountain passes, his discussion about the different types of brake controllers and adjustments were very valuable.
Itterman, a red-seal journeyman RV technician, has been working in the RV industry since 1990. He also works as a part-time instructor for Okanagan College.
