Ask any RVer who is looking for a camp site at a state park if they want a shady spot or one without shade–the vast majority will always opt for a shady camp site.
We all love trees and on Earth Day, April 22, let’s remember that this precious planet of ours “is currently losing over 15 billion trees each year—that’s 56 acres of forest every minute,” according to the Earth Day Network. The network is working to reverse that trend by supporting global reforestation projects.
“Our projects aim to benefit local communities, increase habitat for species, and combat climate change.” Trees for the Earth Campaign has a goal “to plant, or inspire the planting of, 7.8 billion trees worldwide by 2020—one for every person projected to be on Earth.”
