Laid off RV guys sticking together

Tim Vandenack writes on etruth.com about a group of laid-off Monaco RV workers who get together every Wednesday in Groshen, Ind.

They do it … just to keep up with each other, commiserate over their jobless status and have a few laughs.

It’s not all gloom and doom, though. If there’s a positive message that can be drawn from the Monaco group it’s this — friendship is stronger, longer-lasting than the biggest of companies, wrote Vandenack. in the Elkhart Truth.

“It’s just good to see everybody,” says Dan Truex, who had worked 16 years at Monaco and is a regular at the Wednesday get-togethers. “Helps break up the week a little bit.”
