On an absolutely gorgeous day recently, our full-time RV friends Thom and Dar Hoch invited us to ride along with them to Glacier Point for stunning views of the High Sierra, Yosemite Valley and magnificent Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.
With snow predicted in the Sierras, Glacier Point Road will be closing soon for the season. Access to Glacier Point is closed from approximately November through late May, depending on conditions. The first five miles of the road (to Badger Pass ski area) are open when the ski area is open (approximately mid December through March).
