Idaho Power Company  maintains eleven overnight camping facilities: at the Hells Canyon and CJ Strike Areas; and  Lower Salmon Falls, Swan Falls and Twin Falls Parks.

The popular Woodhead Park, in the Hells Canyon Area, is located on 65 acres on the Idaho side of Brownlee Reservoir. Woodhead has 118 RV sites, electricity, showers, water, picnic tables, fire rings, and an RV dump station. There are 15 walk-in tent sites with water, fire rings and picnic tables. There is a four-lane boat ramp, docks, and access to reservoir at low water.

According to the Idaho Power’s Web’s recreation pages most campground sites can be Reserved Online.  A few sites are open on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is 14-day stay limit. For information on park availability call 541-785-7209. (There are additional fees for making reservations.)
