Quartzsite-moonThe RV boondocking capital of the world, Quartzsite, is a longtime mecca for snowbirding RVers. They gather for the inexpensive camping, friendship of other RVers, and all the stuff to do during the town’s famous RV show, gem shows and swap meets. It is estimated that there are more than 20,000 potential campsites on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land border the show grounds.

“From its humble beginnings the now-massive Quartzsite show has grown to RV-epic proportions with vendors offering everything under the Quartzsite sun,” according to the Chamber of Commerce.
