Nearly 20 years ago, Chris Maynard and Bill Scheller opened the world’s eyes to the beauty of car-engine gastronomy in the original “Manifold Destiny” (2008, 160 pages, $14).
Of course two decades ago, car engines ran a little hotter than today, so the authors have gone back and updated the recipes.

Its premise is based on using a truck’s diesel engine to cook meals. With a little ingenuity, maybe these instructions could be adapted to an RV’s diesel engine.
